The Poverty Mentality

I don't know if any of you have heard of this plague but it has been an integral part of my life for WAY too long. Passed down from generation to generation like water. I must announce to you that it stops right here my friends. I am sick and tired of it and I'm declaring war on it! I started reading this awesome book recommended by one of my spiritual daughters (thank you Grace!) called Becoming a Millionaire God's Way by Dr. C. Thomas Anderson and it is really fueling my fire! I want to share a quote from the book that really struck me:

"Poverty is a belief of the heart, not a condition of being without money."

Wow. What a statement. So what exactly is the Poverty Mentality you say? Well, let me share with you a few questions that will reveal if you have it or not:

1. Do You Hold On To Things That You Should let Go Of ?
2. Do You Always Have To Use It All ?
3. Are You Constantly Complaining About How Much Things Cost ?

Here is a great quote from the article:

"Money is a TOOL that God gave us, to help us to buy our NEEDS, not necessarily our WANTS, and we can also use money to make available to us every means that money can buy, to spread His Love, and His Word, to the nations."
